PREVIEW: The Who’s Who of Eastbound Throwdown

9/5 and 9/6 @ Irwin Family Farm, Salem

“What has become something of a family reunion for those in attendance still boasts a warm and welcoming environment for those who are just joining in on the party.”

Celebrating its tenth year now, the Eastbound Throwdown has been a premier festival of the Capital Region, co-hosted by local legends, Eastbound Jesus and Guthrie Bell Productions. The festival takes place this year at the Irwin Family Farm in Salem, NY on September 5th and 6th.

The Eastbound Throwdown always features some serious talents from the country, bluegrass, and americana genres. With both touring and local acts supporting headlining sets on both days from the festivals’ host (and namesake), there will be returning favorites and some soon-to-be favorites. The full two-day lineup has been announced and is as follows:

Friday, 9/5/25: Eastbound Jesus, The Mallett Brothers Band (Maine), Carrie Nation and The Speakeasy (Kansas), Ma'am (Pennsylvania), Turf 'n' Turf (Greenwich, NY), Thom Powers & Friends (Greenwich, NY)

Saturday, 9/6/25: Eastbound Jesus, The Blind Owl Band (Saranac Lake, NY), Forest Station (Vermont), Tigerman Woah (Massachusetts), Treesap (Pennsylvania), Zan & The Winter Folk (Troy, NY), The A.M.s (Troy, NY), Dan Johnson (Vermont)

Eastbound Jesus has formed a local community and following that can’t be understated, regularly drawing around 1,000 festival goers to their festival every year. What has become something of a family reunion for those in attendance still boasts a warm and welcoming environment for those who are just joining in on the party.

Single day tickets are on sale now and while RV tickets are sold out, camping is included with every ticket purchased. Additionally, there will be food and drink available from local vendors, as well as craft vendors ranging from jewelry to clothing. So get on down to the throwdown and have yourself a real good time!
